Ten Days Mission to India
Last January 11, 2014, we sent a Ten Days Mission team to Visakhapatnam, India to conduct an outreach event for the children of our Every Nation church, Love and Care Ministries, and to organize the first Victory Weekend there. Here’s the video that the team made to recap their unforgettable experience.
The Kids’ Camp held last January 12 to 15 was attended by more than 500 children from Andhra Pradesh. The team led the children in dancing and singing praises to God but more than the activities, the children heard about Jesus and how much God loves them.
First Victory Weekend
On January 18, our Ten Days Mission team led the first Victory Weekend of Love and Care Ministries, where 32 locals experienced Christ’s freedom that day.
More Than Bags
The kids from our Kids’ Ministry joined efforts in raising funds to purchase school bags for the kids in India. Their efforts were supported by those who attended our Sambang Gabi last December 21, 2013.
Through everyone’s generosity, our Ten Days Mission team was able to purchase and give 150 school bags to the children that they reached out to. Not only did we reach this goal, but we raised more than enough funds that our church in India will be able to buy a motorcycle for the ministry and to contribute in building a house for the pastors in the tribal area!
Every Campus in Every Nation
The team also visited our church in Mumbai and did prayer walks in campuses. They talked with students in Wilson College, where 5 girls accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and in Xavier’s College where 6 students accepted Christ.
Let’s continue praying for India and the work that God is doing in that nation through Love and Care Ministries.
